LTAP Training

LTAP stands for the Local Technical Assistance Program.  This program is administered through PennDOT and the Pennsylvania State Association of Township Supervisors.

LTAP offers training classes to municipalities at no charge.  Most are 1/2 to one day, at the site of your choice.  The audience is primarily municipal road workers; however, some are a great benefit to Fire Police.

This is a link to the LTAP website.  Go to their site, and since Fire Police are municipal workers, we're eligible to take the classes.  We recommend Work Zone Traffic Control, Traffic Signs, Liability, and others.
